The sharp eyed amongst your visitors will notice the following.

1. I am carrying the famous tripod in my right hand.
2. That neither Sir Tiff or I had actually got our cameras out.

"A day out"= "een dagje-uit" in Dutch, "Tages-aus-flug" in German, but mostly we don't "fly" but walk leisurely like these two gentlemen (with rucksack, camerabag and umbrella-yes, we are in England)- the plenty of green and the swinging curve of the path refresh the eyes -after having looked at the monotonous grey-white and the straight lines of the street before! Ga door!

Chad Doveton: A welcome lesson in language, Philline. 'een dagje-uit' und 'tages-aus-flug'. I think I like the deutchman version best because it is funnier...the flying thing. Yet, time flies when you are having fun und, green is beautiful but comes with a miserably damp existence. The two years that i lived i Detmold were some of my happiest. Plenty of snow in winter and hot summers.

Oh sorry, Bill, I thought it were an umbrella (instead of a tripod) which many British people are always carrying with them for it could perhaps rain! Now it is raining-raining-raining and we stay at home!

I almost choked on MY koffie, too, Chad! Will wonders never cease. And the thing is, you are so nonchalant about it all...like no one would notice that you went from THAT to THIS! You are quite the master of trickery (or do I mean tom-foolery?!). Congratulations!

Yes it's a nice image. The path gives a nice lead in line, lighting is good composition is also good. Lovely colours with the splash of blue from Bills shirt.
BUT BUT WHERE ARE MY BABIES.
WHY OH WHY HAVE THEY BEEN ABANDONED and left to fend for themselves.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO Stevie, Ginger, Paul, Roy, Ray etc.

I would like to enjoy Sir Chadwick's Day out in Droitwich. I restrained myself from taking many photographs as I wanted to see what you would take having just bought a camera from a man with a squint and a BMW with dark tinted windows at a service area on the way up. Let us not spoil this with talk of sheep's eyes and roads.

Gosh I am taken aback no cats eyes. This pathway leads the eye in very well here Chad. Lookig forward to what is around the corner. You got me thinking roads again Nice to see you are back on track.
