Umh....was it in Switzerland, England, France or Africa, Chad?
Chad Doveton: Africa Ray.
A cold, bleak scene... what is the plexiglass wall for?
Chad Doveton: To stop you from falling over the edge.

And on all days, no Boat Friday in the title...or water??
Chad Doveton: I forgot that today was B.F. Ginnie. If only there were a boat in the picture then I would be off the hook, but there were boats toing and froing so my conscience is clear.
Stunning view, is is the word I am looking for anaesthetising?
Chad Doveton: Whatever your needs Bill, there is always someone willing to oblige.
Is this sea-through screen there to keep the tourists under strict security. After all they don't want nasty urban footprints on the Brixham sands do they.
Chad Doveton: This is private property Richard, therefore NO RIFF RAFF!

Chad Doveton: Perhaps you could have a tour by Bill Phillips, he seems to know the place well lisl.

It looks as if that rough & dangerous sea has been cordoned off Chad
Chad Doveton: Are we humans control freaks?

The area behind the plexiglass wall looks like after a Woodstock festival or a party of the sea- gulls. I don't know what has to b e protected by the wall? The view of the sea?
Chad Doveton: There is quite a drop beyond the glass Philine. This is taken from inside our friend's house.
I think you've excelled yourself here, Chad, with the austere symbolism!
Chad Doveton: Thank you very much Tom. This is the view from our friend's house.
Quite a sophisticated way of stopping the high tide Chad!
Chad Doveton: That would have to be a Soon-Army Richard.

My eyes have glazed over.
Chad Doveton: Ha ha am I boring you with my grey world Alan?
Very subtle, Chad, I love it! There's almost nothing there and yet full of many layers, and somehow telling a bit of story.
Chad Doveton: You are able to read my images so well Neil, thank you.

There are see-through houses in Africa? Hope old Eric chucked no stones.
Chad Doveton: I think that he built his from concrete blocks Louis.

I like this!, it looks really cold and bleak....... I like the wavy line of the glass fence, it must model itself on the sea smile
Chad Doveton: It was a lovely house and although bleak looking with the weather, it was a great place.

I once went there some 30 years back - not exactly how I remember it - are you working for a rival tourist board?
strange structures indeed but serve a purpose
Dulce y hermosa como un sueño feliz.
Salud.
